#14th Annual General Assembly and 7th Central Convention Held

#New Committee Formed

Seto Gurans National Child Development Services formed unanimously an 8-member new Executive Committee. The newly formed committee is led by Chairperson Ms Rajya Laxmi Nakarmi, Vice-chairperson Ms Agatha Pakhrin Thapa, Treasurer Ms Kaushila Kharel, Secretary Ms Kunti Rana, Under-secretary Mr Subhendra Man Shrestha, and Members Ms Madhu Rajbhandari, Dr Radheshyam Thakur and Mr Nar Bahadur Pakhrin. Preceding chairperson Mr Jaya Ram Giri handed over the credentials to chairperson Ms Rajya Laxmi Nakarmi.

Earlier, the event -- 14th Annual General Assembly and 7th Central Convention -- was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Minister Devendra Paudel, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Nepali educationist, the founder Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, and former chairperson of Seto Gurans National Child Development Services Mr Suresh Raj Sharma was honored for his continued and valuable contribution in strengthening early childhood development. The former CA member and former Governor of Gandaki Province Hon'ble Sita Kumari Poudel was also present in the program along with Seto Gurans NCDS founding members, life members, general members, and organizational members, media person, and other distinguished individuals.

Also, the organizational report entitled "Reflection 2017-2021" was unveiled by the Hon'ble minister Devendra Paudel. The second series of reflections feature the recent progressive and organizational achievements, especially the period from 2017-2021.
