Bookcase support for Grade 1 children

एक दिन एक पुस्तक पढ्ने गरी,

In collaboration with the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (MoEST), the Center For Education And Human Resources Development; and support from UNICEF Nepal, about 239 sets of bookcases have been distributed to schools, especially aiming to benefit Grade 1 children. The bookcase includes a total of 50 sets of different books.

Earlier, a 5-day Training on Integrated Curriculum for Grade 1 teachers was conducted under the UNICEF Nepal-supported project, "Strengthening Early Childhood Education and Development in Nepal through Implementation of Early Learning Development Standards" with technical support by Seto Gurans National Child Development Services and other local partner organizations. And, the bookcase support for Grade 1 children was provided based on that capacity strengthening training, especially aiming to

#Encourage grade 1 teachers for storytelling to the children.

#Improve pre-reading and learning habits of Grade 1 children
